Home of the National Student Rodeo! HPP is a mecca for playboaters, the varied playspots with good eddy service mean you can camp out and practice till your hearts content. The course is great for beginners and intermediates. After every feature there are large eddy’s perfect for collecting people and kit. The National Water Sports Centre have a Campsite very close to the centre, more info on there website or call 0115 9824721 to make a booking
Pubs and Stuff:
Lady Bay on Trent Boulevard does ok food at a reasonable price and is in easy walking distance from the campsite. Google Street View
Desperate Measures shop is a little further down the road from the lady bay, they do have some boats for demo hire.
Don’t forget the on site Peak-UK shop.
