Hate Crime Awareness Week 2015

During Hate Crime awareness week (10th-15th October 2015), we put together a stand alongside SARI and EACH.
We held the stand at Worle Campus on Wednesday the 14th where one of our members (Mark Bowden) helped us to raise the awareness of Hate Crime towards people with a learning disability.
On Thursday 15th we headed down to Weston College and raised awareness of Hate crime to students and members of the public. Our members shared personal experience and handed out leaflets and brochures.
Avon and Somerset Constabulary supported Hate Crime Awareness week by interviewing people who had been affected by hate crime, including some of our members!
