Speak Up Make Music
7 Jan 2016We recently had a team-building day for our Advisory Committee, at which Dorset People First came to share with us a project they had just completed which was called ‘Speak Up Make Music’.
The project encouraged people with more complex needs to be able to communicate in a different way. We all had great fun using lots of different instruments and learned how to use music as a way to communicate.
The Committee used another form of communicating using Talking mats, and enjoyed using the mats to show their likes and dislikes.
